25-26 United Way of Snohomish Co Financial Lit AmeriCorps
 
 
 
This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. At the United Way of Snohomish County we have served our community for 85 years. We aim to solve Snohomish County’s toughest challenges by bringing people resources and strategy together. The member will support programming to improve financial literacy in our community. We expect to begin rolling review of applications and interviews immediately. Monthly stipend: $1,942.

Member Duties : The Financial Literacy AmeriCorps Member will help families achieve their fullest potential for generations to come regardless of race, place, and ability by increasing financial literacy. They will present training and workshops: provide individual coaching on financial literacy and accessing resources and eligibility for programs and benefits such as benefits calculators, Earned Income Tax Credit, etc.; conduct community outreach through events and tabling; participate in relevant professional learning.
