| Member Duties : --Plan tutoring sessions and provide one-to-one tutoring to referred youth;
--Conduct basic skills and literacy assessments of those referred;
--Encourage and support those tutored by helping them develop confidence and a positive attitude about learning;
--Select materials and approaches that are suitable for the student’s ability and needs;
--Track student’s progress through regular assessments and submit reports;
--Maintain records of tutoring sessions, including materials used, lessons reviewed, progress made;
--Participate in initial and in-service tutor and facilities training, as requested or required;
--May provide supervision and/or support to other tutors;
--May assist with data collection and/or grant research or writing;
