Family Advocacy and Integrated Resources (FAIR)-VISTA
 
 
 
The FAIR VISTA will enhance and expand current initiatives of the Family Advocacy and Integrated Resources (FAIR) Project that address systemic barriers affecting families in Philadelphia. The FAIR Project works to address the needs arising from 47% of children in Philadelphia living in financially struggling families. The FAIR VISTA position will support implementation of projects connecting families to immediate legal support, resource navigation, and financial support to address urgent needs impacting health, safety, stability, and well-being. The FAIR VISTA will also support program development and implementation of the NNCC workforce development initiative.

Member Duties : 1. Develop tools to assist families in navigating Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) Benefits and Early Childhood Education (ECE) systems. 2. Collaborate with the Family Resources Manager to develop and maintain relationships with external Workforce Development partners to establish opportunities for participants in home visiting programs. 3. Create client-facing support documents on navigating childcare, ECE, and ELRC systems. 4. Streamline data management of screenings and referrals to promptly address client needs. 5. Participate in Workforce Development Committee Meetings.
