Eco3.25 Ecolibrium3 Communications VISTA
 
 
 
The Eco3 VISTA Corps focuses on addressing poverty by addressing food access and systems, community development, education, health and wellness, creative placemaking, energy security, and more. Eco3 VISTA members work with organizations that are deeply embedded in the community to help develop solutions to community challenges through leveraging resources, building partnerships, expanding reach, and improving organizational efficiency. The VISTA member will increase organizational capacity to secure program and project funding, increase community awareness, expand connectedness of community members to each other and Eco3 programs, engage volunteers, and develop solutions that integrate existing resources while deepening partnerships. The VISTA member will help develop strategic communications plans and expand a wide range of communications skills while building community participation in Eco3 projects and programs. Although each member is serving in a unique position, all cohort members will participate in VISTA-specific activities such as regular cohort meetings, collaborative projects, professional development opportunities, and trainings.

Member Duties : The member will build communications capacity of a nationally-recognized community development organization to address poverty. The member will develop strategic communications channels and content to expand successful programs in community wellness, energy security, and the environment. The member will also 1) develop organizational strategic communication plans inclusive of the LNPK Hub, VISTA, and Energy Training Corps programs, and 2) advance Ecolibrium3’s web presence to improve community engagement and accessibility.
