Academic and Enrichment Specialist
 
 
 
The Student Engagement Specialist serves alongside LYTE staff to support middle school students in their academic, social, and personal growth. This role helps students stay engaged in programming, provides encouragement for their learning and future pathways, and supports families in navigating school and career readiness opportunities. The Specialist assists with program implementation, helps maintain systems that track student progress, and ensures students feel supported, connected, and empowered to succeed both in and outside of the classroom.

Member Duties : Support student participation and engagement in academic, enrichment, and leadership activities, helping them stay on track with program goals. Assist with family communication and outreach, fostering positive relationships and encouraging student success. Encourage student readiness for future high school, college, and career pathways by providing guidance, resources, and support. Help maintain and use systems that track student engagement, progress, and participation. Serve alongside staff to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel connected, empowered, and valued.
