Emerging Leader Recovery Project Coordinator
 
 
 
Help make recovery possible for more people. Our communities are facing an opioid epidemic, and local organizations need your help to address this crisis. Join Recovery Corps as a Recovery Project Coordinator and you’ll spend your days at a non-profit organization or public agency committed to serving recovery communities. We’ll train you to help your service site reach more people in the community and support you every step of the way! How does it work? You’ll take on projects that contribute to your service site’s goals, focusing on community engagement, data collection, project coordination, volunteer mobilization, or workforce development. Essential Qualifications By the time you begin your service with Recovery Corps, you should be: -Not over the age of 29 by the start of your service date -Dependable and have a history of good attendance -Able to understand and follow instructions -Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed upon hours commitment -Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online) -Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing -18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent -A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States -Able to successfully complete a background check

Member Duties : Core Responsibilities Support projects such as: -Facilitating research and data collection -Leading focus groups -Advancing health campaigns -Mobilizing volunteers -Creating education campaigns -Conducting training on pathways to recovery -Participate in training and professional development throughout the year -Share your experience with the community
