GRID Alternatives SolarCorps Workforce Development Fellow
 
 
 
GRID Alternatives’ SolarCorps Fellowship Program is an opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic community members to join GRID Alternatives for an 11-month paid service term. In this position, you’ll gain valuable experience in the renewable energy and non-profit industries while making significant contributions to communities most impacted by environmental and economic injustice!

Member Duties : We are seeking a full-time SolarCorps Workforce Development Fellow to engage with the workforce team to support GRID’s workforce development initiatives. Members are trained and supervised by GRID's regional workforce development leads to provide employability skills and job opportunities in solar. Members will help to recruit trainees and provide employment readiness skills training and job placement support to un- and underemployed individuals from underserved communities. Members will facilitate job training and placement support in the renewable energy field. As these partners gain education and experience, the members also gain skills in professional relationship building, facilitation, logistics, and program management that will be transferable within the renewable energy, education, and nonprofit industries.
