NourishCorps member
 
 
 
The NourishCorps half-time service member will join a growing network committed to improving access to food and nutrition programs across Louisiana. This service helps neighbors navigate SNAP and CSFP processes, expand mobile market reach and strengthen food security across our state. NourishCorps members will work part time at two of the five member food bank facilities in two Louisiana cities. Duties may include packing food boxes, assisting at senior food box distributions, coordination of mobile distributions, assistance in outreach programs and warehouse operations.

Member Duties : NourishCorps members will assist food bank staff and volunteers with food distribution needs and logistics, including needs related to the CSFP “Senior Food Box” program; engage in community-based food distribution events; and assist with recruiting and coordinating food distribution volunteers as needed.
