United For Childcare

United Way of Southeast Missouri is launching a new AmeriCorps program, United for Childcare, to help families remove childcare as a barrier to employment. In Southeast Missouri, lack of affordable, accessible childcare is one of the top challenges families face when trying to return to work or finish school. This program places AmeriCorps members in community-based roles to support families in navigating childcare options, subsidies, and wraparound services.
