KSU AmeriCorps Service Fellowship
 
 
 
The KSU AmeriCorps Service Fellowship program is a paid, year-long opportunity to serve alongside local non-profits, develop your professional skills, and build a professional network! Becoming an AmeriCorps Member/Service Fellow is an opportunity to learn how to effect change for the campus, community, and beyond while demonstrating a commitment to public service.

Member Duties : Provide direct service to clients of community partners in the form of case management, client outreach and engagement, tutoring, mentoring, etc. May assist the community partner in various indirect service activities, such as marketing, outreach, program development, volunteer coordination, research, and data analysis as assigned by the community partner Attend community engagement events as requested by the community partner host site Provide support for assigned community partner’s existing programs and events, with occasional weekend and/or evening service required Track and document data related to AmeriCorps performance measures and monthly reports Actively participate in training activities, including orientation retreat, bi-weekly meetings, supervision meetings, CPR/First Aid training, and other training deemed necessary by the Program Director. Support recruitment of peers to volunteer for KSU Day of Service.
