The Early Childhood Teacher Corps (ECTC) is designed to support school readiness of vulnerable children while offering a pipeline into the early education profession. Partnering with early care and education programs, the Early Childhood Teacher Corps will serve in Orleans Parish who are interested in pursuing a career in early education. As an ECTC member, you will serve as both a classroom support and a participant in the Child Development Associate (CDA) certification program. In the classroom, you will assist Lead Teachers in creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments, supporting lesson plans, and documenting children’s progress.
