2025 VISTA UT Workforce Specialist
 
 
 
The VISTA member will work with the Association for Utah Community Health (AUCH) to develop and implement workforce initiatives, training, and technical assistance for Utah’s health centers. The VISTA member will build capacity for workforce pathways by working alongside the Workforce Program Manager (WPM) and coordinate multiple projects that support workforce development, recruitment, and retention. These efforts will facilitate partnerships that capitalize on clinical rotations, residencies, and pathway opportunities with health centers to address workforce shortages in rural and urban underserved communities, resulting in greater access to quality primary and preventative care services.

Member Duties : The Vista will provide research to improve health center recruitment and retention projects; develop a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) workforce plan based on industry research that includes actionable steps and strategies to increase access to MCH services, and recruit for and retain MCH service providers.
