Bring the future to your community! Join Delaware Libraries as an Emerging Tech VISTA and help connect people to cutting-edge tools like AI, VR, and AR. Your work will inspire learning, spark career exploration, and make technology accessible to all. Boost your skills while shaping the future—design programs, build partnerships, and bring emerging technology into libraries statewide. As the Emerging Tech VISTA, you’ll work with public libraries and partner organizations to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Extended Reality (XR) can enhance education, workforce development, and community engagement. If you’re curious, creative, and passionate about making technology accessible to everyone, this position offers hands-on experience in program design, community engagement, and emerging tech innovation.

Member Duties : You’ll: • Launch an AI Speaker Series in partnership with the Delaware AI Commission. • Create marketing materials, coordinate registration, and ensure high-quality video recording for sharing online. • Build a database of AI and cybersecurity resources. • Research and design technology-based programs for diverse audiences—from high school students exploring STEM careers to older adults engaging in sensory activities. • Connect with tech businesses, community groups, and innovators to bring exciting opportunities into libraries
