Think Big Youth Organization Program Assistant

Think Big Youth Organization brings educational resources into low-income areas to combat learning loss as well as increase comprehension and retention of information. While open to all, majority of programming is provided on-site at low-income housing communities to alleviate transportation barriers. As a result of growth since 2015, we are seeking energetic and inquisitive members to 1) assist in improving program delivery for after school and summer learning programs 2) expand programs within existing service areas. Current service areas include Midway, Hinesville, Ashburn, and Folkston, GA. The project is underway and anticipated to end and end 8/24/2024. Members can expect to obtain or further cultivate skills in K-12 academic and social-emotional strategies; student monitoring and evaluation techniques; database development and maintenance; as well as volunteer recruitment and management. Opportunities to network with local, regional, and national social service and/or educational agencies will also be available in this role. Members can take tremendous pride in contributing to advancing equitable outcomes in disadvantaged communities while reducing stigmas surrounding afterschool learning. Outside of service hours, the Coastal Georgia location offers beaches, historic sites, and a variety of entertainment options to explore. Curiosity is great, learn more at https://ThinkBigyouth.com
