CTEP at SPNN (Abbreviated Time)
 
 
 
Since 1985 SPNN has been the Cable Access Provider for the City of Saint Paul. Our mission is to increase civic engagement in Saint Paul by providing an avenue for free speech and media creation. We provide training, check out equipment, and have 4 Cable Access Channels available to the public. Our Programs team works with youth and adults to learn media creation skills. We have basic classes on camera, editing, and studio. We have in-depth programs that teach documentary and production skills, we host artist talks and one-off workshops. Our media center is open 6-7 days a week for youth and adult members and program participants. We host out of school programs 3 days a week for youth 14-19.

Member Duties : Building relationships with SPNN Members: Whether through basic classes, specialized workshops, or drop-in labs, the Access CTEP will work to make SPNN members feel engaged & supported. The Access CTEP is encouraged to spend as much time as possible in the Access Center in order to build relationships outside of organized classes or events.
