Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills (BGCF) is a high-impact nonprofit that serves over 1,200 youth annually across Monrovia and surrounding communities through after-school, summer, and sports-based programs. We help young people—particularly those from historically underserved communities—reach their full potential through academic support, mentorship, and enrichment. We are seeking a VISTA who is organized, detail-oriented, and systems-minded to support our growth and sustainability efforts. As a Strategic Projects & Partnerships VISTA, you’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to build the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that powers our success. You’ll help coordinate strategic initiatives, organize stakeholder communication, track partnership progress, and develop tools to improve executive and board effectiveness. This is an ideal position for someone who excels at logistics, loves organizing information, and enjoys seeing big-picture plans come to life through thoughtful coordination. You’ll gain rare access to high-level leadership and decision-making processes—an opportunity not typically offered to early-career professionals. You’ll leave your service year with hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, executive support, and organizational strategy—plus the satisfaction of knowing your work helped grow vital programs for hundreds of local kids.

Member Duties : The VISTA at BGCF will be part of the 2025-26 Coach Across America VISTA cohort of 53 members. The VISTA member will support BGCF’s strategic growth by organizing and tracking outreach to new school districts, coordinating partner and board communications, and supporting follow-up from leadership meetings. They’ll help manage systems that keep high-level projects moving forward, including strategic plans, partnership pipelines, and communication calendars. The VISTA will also prepare reports, talking points, and presentation materials that enable BGCF’s leadership to advocate, collaborate, and expand impact.
