Energy Communications VISTA
 
 
 
The mission of HSEO is to promote ambitious, culturally responsive of strategies to achieve energy resilience in a manner that is affordable, reliable, and resilient. The position will help HSEO develop internal resources to help staff to be better positioned to implement affordable energy resources to lower costs, encourage workforce development in Hawaii’s energy sector, and ensure energy reliability and affordability. The VISTA will help create materials for and frameworks for internal staff coordination on the state’s energy economy. The VISTA will help to develop internal event planning systems, logistics checklists, and workflows for staff-led activities and design internal outreach planning tools, facilitation guides, and workshop frameworks for staff. Creating internal communication strategies, message libraries, content templates, and style guides for staff use. Creating internal stakeholder mapping tools and engagement protocols for staff use. Developing internal research summaries, audience analysis tools, and evaluation frameworks for staff use. Write proofread and edit, creative and technical content across different mediums to effectively communicate state energy goals and priorities, to increase understanding of complex issues internally. Conduct market research of Hawaii communities on requirements, habits and trends of the HSEO audiences’ communication habits to help inform staff. The VISTA role does not support American Climate Corps activities or energy and climate policy advocacy
