Stewards VISTA: Coconino County Economic Development Y1

Lead the development and implementation of the pillars of the Building Resilient Economies in Coal Communities, the VISTA will survey the landscape to identify the public and private entities involved. Next, development of an outreach strategy to connect with those entities and to learn of their efforts and from their experiences. Out of that process and in cooperation with the Economic Development and County Manager's Offices, develop a course of action to enhance existing connections/relationships and to forge new relationships. Also, identify related targets of opportunity and a schedule for pursuing the same. These efforts will require time to develop outreach strategies and to visit stakeholders where they reside throughout the community. These efforts provide the chance to explore some of the most unique and beautiful places in the world while working with the people to whom the land and community are one.
