| Member Duties : The Public Health Media Specialist VISTA member will collaborate with the Communications Team at the Wyandotte County Public Health Department to expand and/or enhance messaging about the mission and services of the health department in both internal and external multimedia content.
- Develop expanding health department communication materials to educate the community in having better awareness of health department services and health education in virtual platforms.
- Review the accreditation and strategic plans to align content with services and future goals of the health department.
-Research the programs, policies, procedures and resources that are currently in place related to resource development and identify best practices from other programs.
-Apply for¿fundraising opportunities¿that adhere to organization approved efforts
