Summer Community Safety AmeriCorps Member
 
 
 
The Summer Community Safety AmeriCorps Member will assist in providing support for school-aged youth who may be experiencing behavior concerns and will promote social-emotional development. Utilizing a trauma-informed approach, the Community Safety AmeriCorps members will provide a safe and nurturing environment, fostering resilience and well-being in children and youth. Through ensuring the safety and well-being of the youth, the Summer Community Safety AmeriCorps Member will serve to meet established outcomes goals for Our House’s AmeriCorps project. This includes serving at least 150 school-aged children in Our Club and serving to ensure 100 youth complete at least one semester in the program and helping at least 85% of those who stay for at least three months to maintain or improve their report card grades in literacy and math.
