PHENND Fellows: Nonprofit Center Community Program Developer

The Nonprofit Neighborhood Hub at The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University is a dynamic initiative aimed at strengthening community capacity and enhancing the effectiveness of local organizations in Philadelphia. This initiative works collaboratively with community stakeholders to develop and sustain support mechanisms that tackle issues of poverty and community violence. Through ongoing engagement and strategic partnerships, the program seeks to establish and refine innovative community support systems. Its approach is rooted in continuous learning and adaptation to ensure the initiatives remain responsive to the evolving needs of the community. This project is a part of the PHENND Fellows VISTA program housed at the Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development (PHENND). PHENND is a network of over 25 colleges and universities that strengthens service-learning, civic engagement, and community partnership in Philadelphia.
