Member Duties : The VISTA member will be responsible for:
1) Assessment and Learning: Review the outcomes of year one’s pilot programs to extract key learnings and best practices. Engage with community stakeholders to gather feedback and refine future program strategies.
2) Program Management: Oversee ongoing development and implementation of community initiatives based on insights gained. Ensure programs meet community needs and adjust strategies as necessary.
3) Funding Strategy Enhancement: Research and identify potential funding sources to support the sustainability of the program. Manage grant applications and work collaboratively with staff to develop relationships with new and existing donors to secure funding.
4) Resource Development: Create and maintain a calendar of funding opportunities. Lead collaborative efforts to create compelling grant proposals and lead funding campaigns to support year 3 and beyond. There will be opportunities to attend fundraising training to enhance skills.
