AmeriCorps Program Expansion Coordinator
 
 
 
Position Description: AmeriCorps Program Expansion Coordinator Vineyard Children's Library The AmeriCorps member in this role will serve as the AmeriCorps Program Expansion Coordinator. This individual thrives in a collaborative environment and is adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will be engaging with the community, supporting events and current procedures, and expanding programming. You should be willing to commit 14 hours a week to help the organization accomplish its mission and goals through engaging with their surroundings, and fostering a sense of community and belonging. Service Term and Benefits This is an AmeriCorps position. AmeriCorps is a unique service opportunity. AmeriCorps members complete a term of service from February 2025 through January 2026. Members will serve a minimum of 675 hours during this time, approximately 14 hours per week. AmeriCorps members will receive a living allowance of $9,280 during their term of service. This living allowance will be paid bi-weekly. Additionally, upon successful completion of a term of service, AmeriCorps members will receive an education award of $2,817.14

Member Duties : Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting with marketing efforts to expand the library’s reach and visibility within the community Organizing collections to ensure materials are easily accessible and navigable for patrons. Assisting with technical issues within our database and collection to improve operational efficiency. Creating marketing strategies with social media calendars, schedules and content Providing direct support to patrons, including helping them locate materials, navigate library resources, and utilize available technology. Providing support in running library programs and staffing the library booth at community events Ensuring successful engagement and outreach Skills and Qualifications Be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien (green card holder) Be 18 or older Have a highschool diploma or GED Undergo a background check Live in Utah (or be willing to relocate)
