Resource Development VISTA (CC Arizona)

This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty. At Catholic Charities Community Services of Arizona, we’ve served vulnerable individuals and families since 1933. From supporting those experiencing homelessness to helping veterans transition into permanent housing, our mission is to provide help, create hope, and serve all with dignity and respect. We’re seeking a VISTA Member to expand our impact by strengthening community partnerships and resource development. As a Resource Development VISTA, you’ll build relationships with donors, faith-based organizations, and businesses to increase in-kind donations of essential items. Your efforts will ensure children, families, and individuals in crisis receive the resources they need. You’ll research current systems, identify opportunities for growth, and develop a strategy to enhance donor engagement, implement tracking systems, and create recognition programs. As you launch and refine these efforts, you’ll measure success and ensure sustainability by training staff and volunteers. If you’re a self-motivated leader with strong communication and research skills, a passion for nonprofit work, and a desire to make an impact, this is the opportunity for you. Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or outreach is a plus but not required. Join us in Phoenix, AZ, a city with a rich culture and growing nonprofit sector. Apply today and help us build a stronger, more connected community!
