Notre Dame AmeriCorps - SW Ohio
 
 
 
Notre Dame Mission Volunteers members serve in over 25 cities across the country, providing one-on-one and small group instruction to student and adult learners. With a focus on education and college/career readiness, NDMV members provide critical services to schools, after school programs, and non-profit community partners. In addition to serving, NDMV members are grouped into city cohorts and supported by a local NDMV Site Manager who provides training opportunities, facilitates service projects and accompanies members on their service journeys. An annual MidYear conference in Baltimore, MD offers networking, connection, and personal and professional development opportunities for NDMV.

Member Duties : Serve with NDMV in Cincinnati and Dayton, OH where members support students in grades k-12 and/or adult learners by providing the community with academic and farm programs and resources. Members in Cincinnati serve at Tikkun Farm, Cincinnati Urban Promise, Warren County Adult New Readers Program, Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Lydia's House and Mill Creek Alliance. Members in Dayton serve at Mission of Mary, Five Rivers MetroParks, and St. Benedict the Moor Catholic School. Check out our website to learn more about NDMV SWOhio: ndmva.org
