College Possible Access & Success Coach

College Possible AmeriCorps programming is dedicated to making college admission and success attainable for students. Through the commitment of AmeriCorps Coaches, College Possible provides a comprehensive support system to help students navigate the complexities of higher education. Our AmeriCorps Coaches offer personalized, one-on-one mentoring, guiding students through key steps in their academic journey. From ACT/SAT preparation and college application assistance to navigating financial aid and scholarship opportunities, our coaches ensure students have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. The support continues after college acceptance. Our Coaches mentor students throughout their college careers, helping them overcome challenges and stay on track to earn their degrees. By building strong, supportive relationships, AmeriCorps members serve as mentors and advocates, helping students develop the confidence and skills needed for college success. In addition to direct student support, our AmeriCorps Coaches collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to create a broad network of support. This approach helps students prepare not only academically but also socially and emotionally for the college experience. College Possible’s AmeriCorps programming also emphasizes professional development for its Coaches. Through training and hands-on experience, Coaches gain valuable skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving, preparing them for future careers in education, social services, and beyond. By leveraging the dedication of AmeriCorps members, College Possible helps students succeed in higher education, removing obstacles and providing the guidance needed to reach their goals.
