2025 MPDC NeighborWorks Grants & Evaluation VISTA

Join our team to help Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) advance its strategic vision. MPDC is a nearly 60-year old community development corporation serving Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood, providing affordable rental housing, homeownership opportunities, as well as comprehensive community programs and other resources like a community center and arts and culture venue. The MPDC Grants & Evaluation VISTA will focus on ensuring that MPDC’s growing programs, ranging from youth workforce development and alternative education to health equity and wellness and community violence prevention, have the resources, systems and processes needed for success and sustainability, namely funding support and effective data collection and impact monitoring strategies and tools. VISTA members will focus on activities like honing data collection and evaluation plans for program departments; improving monitoring practices and generating impact reports; conducting analyses of data gathered through the 2024 Community Impact Measurement Survey along with creating data visualization for use in discussions with residents; identifying new funding opportunities and providing additional grant writing and reporting support. Improving systems and organizational financial sustainability were identified as key goals in MPDC's 2024-2026 strategic plan and a VISTA member will have the opportunity to play a key role in accomplishing those goals.
