NeighborWorks VISTA Program
 
 
 
The VISTA members will contribute to the goals of this project by working to identify contractors for this new program, scheduling contractors training and meetings, determining customers income eligibility, collecting supportive documents, processing applications and maintaining an active pipeline. The VISTA members will build capacity in creating outreach, marketing, and communication tools to promote our programming efforts. These materials are aimed at educating borrowers on health benefits of improving their homes. VISTA members will help alleviate the issues that households with low-moderate income have been facing due to financial problems and limited access to resources.

Member Duties : The goal of Neighborhood Housing Services Baltimore project is to serve low-moderate income homeowners with smart, healthy home repairs and energy upgrades. These repairs may improve the condition of the home, improve the health of the home as well as lower the homeowner’s energy cost. The VISTA members will contribute to the goals of this project by working to identify contractors for this new program, scheduling contractors training and meetings, determining customers income eligibility, collecting supportive documents, processing applications and maintaining an active pipeline.
