Healthy Minds Alliance - Portland, OR

The Healthy Minds Alliance is an innovative AmeriCorps program that takes a community-based approach to the mental health crisis by utilizing evidence-based/ informed programs in communities across the nation. There is a sense of urgency in our nation to improve awareness, recognition, and ability to respond to the needs of those experiencing symptoms of mental illness. During their 10-month service term, AmeriCorps Members are trained in the mental health intervention identified by the local crisis call center.
