2025 TCHA Resident & Community Engagement Coordinator

Tooele County Housing Authority’s (TCHA) mission is to foster the availability of quality, affordable housing and related services using broad community resources. We will accomplish this mission through community collaboration, efficient resource management and expansion of funding sources. TCHA serves the geographical entirety of Tooele County, focusing on those who are experiencing homelessness or housing vulnerability or considered low and moderate income. VISTA Member will focus on building foundational relationships that will increase the social capital of individuals who are experiencing homelessness and those who are the most vulnerably housed in Tooele County. Successful outcomes of the project will also indirectly benefit Tooele County citizens as a whole, as residents who are informed and invested in diverse housing opportunities will result in a community that is stronger and inclusive of all income levels. VISTA member in this position will have the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders – including government entities, non-profit partners, and community members. This position is part of a larger VISTA program that spans the State of Utah, providing networking and learning opportunities beyond just this assignment. This role will allow for professional development and personal growth while also affecting the lives of thousands. Tooele County is in beautiful northern Utah, just west of Salt Lake City and close to a myriad of outdoor adventure experiences.
