Member Duties : The Community Assessment Specialist VISTA will network and build long-term relationships with Michigan communities to increase their capacity to conduct community assessments that will guide the development of their opioid settlement fund response plans. This position will work with the OPEN-MSU Community Assessment Coordinator and the Statewide Opioid Technical Assistance Center staff to create a community assessment toolkit, work plan templates, and reports. The VISTA will also work with local communities to support the development of community-specific community assessment plans, implementation, and use the findings to support long-term community efforts.
