API Transportation Volunteer Coordinator

Portage County (PC) Family & Children’s First Council is currently participating in multiple initiatives in which transportation has been identified as a priority. While PC residents can utilize a public transportation system, it does not meet the needs of some of our underserved, at-risk populations and those in the outlying parts of the community. The Transportation Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for deeply understanding these residents, gathering data, and exploring proposed solutions such as a Volunteer Driving Program for Court Attending Youth. Participate in the development and implementation of possible solutions. Recruit volunteers and secure funding for program continuation.
