Community Outreach AmeriCorps VISTA
 
 
 
Located in Anderson, SC, AIM has been helping clients become self-sufficient for over 35 years by offering people a hand up, not a hand out. The Community Outreach AmeriCorps VISTA will increase customer, client, donor, and volunteer engagement with FoodShare SC, our new healthy eating initiative. In addition, they will increase client interaction with Financial Stability classes aimed at increasing self-sustainability in clients. They will build capacity with AIM's Financial Stability program through reporting and client tracking to assist in establishing the first Financial Opportunity Center in South Carolina. We are looking for a detail oriented, but outgoing individual with marketing and social media skills they will use to both increase our volunteer base, as well as advertise our new programs. This is a wonderful opportunity to get an insider's view on what it takes to make non-profit programs successful from the ground up!
