Graphic Arts Capacity Building VISTA
 
 
 
Objective 1: Increase Marketing Effectiveness by Developing Creative Assets. Member Activity 1: Develop, plan for, and execute/coordinate an inventory of creative assets to be used in print (flyers, banners) and digital (website, social media) to support ASD’s marketing efforts. Member Activity 2: Redesign existing digital and print marketing materials to support ASD’s new brand strategy and communication goals as well as individual program and social enterprise communication goals. Objective 2: Support Essential 2025 Campaigns with Creative Assets Member Activity 1: Create print and digital materials to support two core campaigns for ASD in 2025 - the 30th Anniversary Campaign and the Capital Campaign for ASD’s development of an agricultural campus Member Activity 2: Assist in developing a strategy and schedule that coordinates all creative efforts across all channels (social media, print, website, etc.) Objective 3: Ensure ASD’s Marketing Complies with our DEI Values Member Activity 1: Help investigate diversity, equity, and inclusion issues by A) attending ASD's DEI committee and book club meetings, and B) drafting and implementing graphics that address and convey the core DEI values through internal communications Member Activity 2: Work to ensure all of ASD’s existing and new creative assets comply with ASD’s DEI marketing policy. Objective 4: Support ASD’s internal communications efforts by creating assets and helping execute successful internal communications Member Activity 1: Create survey tools and attend meetings to help identify internal communications deficits across and within teams/programs. Member Activity 2: Research best practices for internal communications and help develop a strategy. A) Participate in meetings to co-create campaign themes and concepts and B) develop internal communications content and print assets (newsletter, graphics, etc.).

Member Duties : The VISTA will support ASD's many marketing channels and efforts to increase awareness of the importance of agriculture, and the many ways that ASD supports agriculture through programs, initiatives, etc. This could include laying out a newsletter or annual report, creating flyers and banners, creating graphics for the website and social media. This VISTA will also assume some management of the ASD website, asdevelop.org. (No prior web skills necessary)
