Essential Functions (Primary Responsibilities): • Outreach and communication to schools and teachers • Coordination with local stakeholders to become local partners to the nearby schools • Internship creation and coordination • Career fair planning and hosting Marginal Functions (Secondary Responsibilities): • Demonstration of water quality data collection (metals, nutrients, macroinvertebrate) • Demonstration of water quantity data collection (stream flow measurements) Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Demands: • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and oral) • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work within a team • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel) • Willing to work outside and sometimes alone

Member Duties : This position will focus on River Science’s education certificates (River Watch and Hydrology Technician 1). Our objective is to improve these certificates and programs with specific focus on expanding the programs to new schools, adding additional teacher resources, and adding opportunities for the students.
