25-26 Cispus Learning Center Outdoor School Programmer

This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. The Cispus Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit program of the Association of Washington School Principals (AWSP). We are an outdoor learning center located in Randle, Washington. As an education-focused, non-profit we provide affordable retreat opportunities for all audiences. We also serve as an outdoor school for 5th and 6th graders from across the state. Outdoor schools offer a unique solution to several challenges our youth face today. Time in nature increases mental well-being and fosters commitment to conservation. Our hands on experiences engage the imagination and teach life lessons. The member will deliver educational programs and steward the facility with a team. They will also conduct community outreach to promote our programs and increase access to Cispus facility and programs. We will conduct rolling review of applications and interviews until position is filled. Low-cost housing is provided on site. Monthly stipend amount: $1,942.
