Sharing Life Fundraising Support VISTA (Year 1)
 
 
 
Sharing Life is a multi-service nonprofit that targets both the immediate and long-term needs of our clients. Our mission, the core of who we are, is to end bothe hunger and poverty. To do both, we know that we must not onlly provide food for our families, but it is important that we also set our clients up with programs and resources to create a better future for themselves and their families. Having nutritious foods is only the start of a better fuure. In addition to food, we currently offer emergency financial assistancem clothing, educational programs, GED Testing, job placements, financial coaching, medical equipment, and other non-food essentials.

Member Duties : The Fundraising Support VISTA will support the Development and Operational Mangers of Sharing Life . Sharing Life has seen significant programmatic growth over the last 10years. We have increased our food distribution 50-fold and expanded workforce development programs based on feedback from the community. The VISTA to help suppport our fundraising team would pay dividends exponeentially in the coming years.Grant writing, grant tracking, and learning how we use our strategic plan to guide fundraising are all things we need VISTA support in.
