Organizational Development and Marketing VISTA
 
 
 
Volunteers in Medicine Christian County is dedicated to providing free, high-quality health care, to the uninsured, under-served, and homeless residents in Christian County who are 18-64 years of age and live at or below the 200% Federal Poverty Level. The goal of the project is to utilize the services of the VISTA in a professional capacity, i.e. grant writing, public relations, and fundraising. The overall goal of the project is to increase the awareness and accessibility of free medical service in Christian County to those who meet the qualifications set forth. This will be achieved by exploring and applying for grants, coordinating fundraising events and campaigns, and creating and implementing marketing strategies

Member Duties : Work with the VIMCC Board of Directors and their direct representatives to research, write, and apply for grants in an attempt to increase the capacity building of the organization in its effort to provide free health care to those low income residents of Christian County who are uninsured. Market the free medical services and the mobile health clinics available to Christian County residents in an attempt to increase awareness and utilization.
