Social Media and Development VISTA
 
 
 
¿ Assess TRM's existing social media strategies, channels, and content. ¿ Research social media best practices, trends, and innovative strategies for capacity building. ¿ Identify the specific needs and preferences of TRM staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries regarding social media usage through surveys, interviews, and focus groups. ¿ Analyze the effectiveness of current social media efforts in achieving TRM's goals and objectives. ¿ Create a comprehensive plan outlining strategies for social media recruitment, content creation, engagement, and analytics tracking. ¿ Develop guidelines and policies for consistent and effective use of social media across TRM's programs and initiatives. ¿ Implement the social media program. ¿ Monitor and evaluate the impact of capacity building interventions through metrics such as increased engagement, improved reach, and enhanced content quality. ¿ Collect feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to the program. ¿ Provide ongoing support and guidance to TRM staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries as they implement social media strategies and initiatives. ¿ Develop guidelines, manuals, and resources to document the social media capacity building program's processes, best practices, and lessons learned. ¿ Train TRM staff and volunteers on how to maintain and further develop social media capacity building initiatives. ¿ Establish mechanisms for ongoing support, mentorship, and knowledge sharing among TRM stakeholders to sustain the momentum of social media capacity building efforts. ¿ Collaborate with TRM leadership to integrate social media capacity building into organizational practices and policies for long-term impact.

Member Duties : The Social Media and Development VISTA will develop and implement a comprehensive program aimed at enhancing the social media presence and knowledge of individuals and organizations associated with The Rolla Mission (TRM). By researching best practices, designing training materials, and facilitating workshops, the VISTA will empower TRM and its stakeholders to effectively leverage social media platforms for outreach, engagement, and impact.
