Project Free 2 Fly Project Coordinator- AmeriCorps Ocoee
 
 
 
The AmeriCorps Ocoee VISTA program is dedicated to building capacity and supporting organizations that empower communities in Bradley County, TN. Project Free 2 Fly focuses on transforming the lives of low-income and disadvantaged women transitioning out of homelessness or completing rehabilitation for life-controlling issues. Their mission is to provide critical support through goal development, job skills training, and life skills education, enabling these women to regain stability and confidence. The AmeriCorps Ocoee VISTA member will play a crucial role in enhancing the sustainability and impact of Project Free 2 Fly. Their responsibilities will include designing a comprehensive resource development plan, reestablishing and expanding community partnerships, and creating sustainable processes for events and fundraising. This strategic approach will ensure that the program effectively meets immediate needs while fostering long-term success for participants.

Member Duties : As a VISTA member, you will play a crucial role in building the capacity of Free 2 Fly to enhance the sustainability of our program. Key responsibilities will include: designing a resource development plan to secure funding and support for our initiatives, reestablishing and expanding community partnerships to strengthen our network, and developing sustainable processes for events and fundraising, including needs assessment and implementation.
