College Possible Success Coach - Austin

College Possible AmeriCorps programming is dedicated to making college admission and success attainable for students from underrepresented communities. Through the commitment of passionate AmeriCorps Coaches, College Possible offers a comprehensive support system that empowers students to navigate the complexities of higher education. Our AmeriCorps Coaches provide personalized, one-on-one mentoring, guiding students through every step of their academic journey. From ACT/SAT preparation and college application assistance to navigating financial aid and scholarship opportunities, our coaches work to ensure that students are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. The support doesn't stop once students are accepted into college. Our Coaches continue to mentor students throughout their college careers, helping them persist through challenges and ultimately earn their degrees. By building strong, trusting relationships with students, our AmeriCorps members serve as both mentors and advocates, fostering a sense of belonging and resilience that is crucial for college success. In addition to direct student support, our AmeriCorps Coaches engage with families, schools, and community partners to create a network of support that extends beyond the individual student. This holistic approach ensures that students are not only prepared academically but also emotionally and socially to thrive in a college environment. College Possible’s AmeriCorps programming also emphasizes professional development for its Coaches. Through training and hands-on experience, Coaches gain valuable skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving, preparing them for future careers in education, social services, and beyond. By leveraging the dedication of AmeriCorps members, College Possible is transforming the lives of students, breaking down barriers to higher education, and fostering a future where college success is within reach for all.
