Volunteer & Donor Engagement VISTA

Be part of a dedicated team working to ensure safe and sustainable housing for Indianapolis seniors and those with disabilities. Use your skills of relationship building to help strengthen relationships with key volunteers and donors, develop new relationships with volunteers who have only engaged one or two times with the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and enhance donor engagement strategies while increasing public awareness of our mission. The VISTA member will play a critical role in strengthening our fundraising efforts, fostering donor relationships, and creating impactful communications to support our programs. The Home Repair Program provides home repairs at no cost to extremely low income older adults. This member position will help us reach our goal of serving more homeowners by increasing the number of engaged volunteers and donors. These critical repairs provide a safer home for the client to age in and provide a more stable home for homeowners to then pass down to future generations. VISTA will build capacity by increasing funding for the program and testing processes of engagement and communication that energizes support. An increase in individual giving and a clear increase in volunteers becoming donors will signify success in the VISTA’s efforts. The successful VISTA will help build the organizations sustainability for years to come, carving a true resource within Marion County, Indiana for affordable housing through owner occupied repairs.
