Rogue Retreat Volunteer Coordinator
 
 
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to) ¿ Collaborate with staff to identify volunteer needs. ¿ Through creative marketing, recruit volunteers using social media, community events, partner agencies, job training agencies, etc. ¿ Mobilize community volunteers to provide support at Rogue Retreat shelters and programs. ¿ Monitor and evaluate volunteer programs and volunteer opportunity presentations to local community partners, provide feedback for improvement of volunteer opportunities and outcomes. ¿ Ability to collaborate on projects and meet deadlines. ¿ Strengthen relationships between guests, participants, volunteers, and staff. ¿ Create a standard operations procedures guide for the program. ¿ Development and implement a Volunteer Management Plan to increase volunteer recruitment, volunteer satisfaction/retention, and streamline communication between volunteers and Rogue Retreat. ¿ Create an impact report providing visual charts, results, and numbers to capture qualitative and quantitative data of the project. ¿ Be a part of the Safety Committee and help present pieces of training to the committee. ¿ Regular and reliable attendance. ¿ Attend and complete all SA training and service requirements including orientation, trainings, team meetings, and National Days of Service (Make a Difference Day, MLK Jr. Day, Cesar Chavez Day, and a June Service Event). ¿ Wear AmeriCorps apparel and/or appropriate identifiers while performing service or attending official events.

Member Duties : The Volunteer Services Coordinator will be responsible for building partnerships and community relations while recruiting, training, and managing a team of volunteers. These volunteers will support Rogue Retreat by building capacity and completing mutually defined learning objectives. The Volunteer Services Coordinator will attend training to learn how to recruit, train, and support volunteers and agency objectives. The Volunteer Services Coordinator will work in a variety of shelter settings with a diverse group of people.
