2025 Village Development Coordinator
 
 
 
Village Connections is a virtual village that supports older adults in the Downtown, Brewery District, German Village, Schumacher Place, and Merion Village areas of Columbus, OH. Village Central is a virtual village that supports older adults in in the near east and near south neighborhoods of Columbus, OH. Sited at Village Connections, VISTAs will be supporting Village Connections and Village Central to ensure visibility of the organizations in their respective communities, while focusing on increased volunteer and membership numbers and the development of programs to reduce isolation and impact financial stability and help alleviate poverty in the older adult populations they serve. Member Duties : VISTAs will work directly with the Executive Director of Village Connections and Program Director of Village Central to research and implement social, educational, cultural, and wellness opportunities for their membership. This position will also help reduce the barriers and connect members to these much-needed resources.
