ACC Partnership Development VISTA

ECDC African Community Center (ACC) is a Denver-based organization dedicated to helping refugees rebuild secure lives after escaping war and persecution. Since 2001, ACC has supported over 1,300 refugees annually by providing critical services such as housing, education, employment, and fostering self-sufficiency. As the Partnership Development VISTA, you will play a key role in expanding ACC’s ability to assist refugee families by building corporate partnerships that improve housing stability and employment opportunities, reducing poverty, and promoting community integration. Based in the vibrant Denver metro area, you’ll have access to cultural events, outdoor activities, and professional development. Working closely with ACC’s leadership team, your responsibilities will include creating strategies to engage corporations as partners, donors, and employers. Strengthening these relationships will help secure private funds for essential programs and for Emergency Rental Assistance, which faces funding challenges due to growing client numbers, while leveraging corporate social responsibility and workplace volunteerism to engage businesses in refugee employment and housing efforts. Key responsibilities include researching and developing corporate partnership, building frameworks for corporate engagement, encouraging volunteerism, in-kind donations, and financial contributions, and creating employment pathways for refugees with employers. This role is ideal for those passionate about nonprofit work, corporate social responsibility, and community development. You’ll gain experience in program management, partnership building, and networking with leaders from various sectors, making a lasting difference in the lives of refugees. The position is full-time for one year. To learn more or apply, visit our website at acc-den.org or contact Rhossy at rhossy@acc-den.org.
