Real Estate and Development Programs VISTA

As a member of the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group, UP collaborates with community-based non-profits to achieve economic justice and racial equity through revitalization efforts. PCRG empowers community development organizations, providing resources like the VISTA program, which enhances organizational capacity while cultivating leadership. The program has been successful in advancing the careers of VISTA members, who are given opportunities for professional development throughout the year. About 70% go on to positions at community non-profits, while the other 30% pursue higher education, often supported by the end-of-service education award.
