Member Duties : Members will serve as mentors with at-risk students, conducting regular check-ins; developing a rapport with youth, offering guidance, providing basic homework help, foster social and emotional development, and promote life skills.
Members will participate in the following interventions: Develop a trusting relationship with youth, stabilizing youth in crisis and setting goals; increase resiliency of youth, delivering social and emotional development interventions.
Members will also help foster life skills.
Members must be available to serve 2:00pm - 6:30pm Tuesday – Thursday. Periodic youth programming on Mondays 8am-3pm or Saturdays (TBA).
