The Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation strives to enhance the quality of life in the Walnut Hills community through equitable development, accessibility to healthy foods, engaging the whole community and stakeholders in the governance of the community. We are ensuring we have a community that is vibrant, safe, healthy, and inclusive for all. Our strategic plan has identified goals to increase available housing at all income levels, increase transportation services for residents and arts visitors, increase businesses, commercial density in key areas in the community, ensuring financial stability, and community building and food security. Our VISTA will help us implement the goals of our strategic plan.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA member position will support the mission of the Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation by working to identity resources, create communications strategies that will benefit our residents at all income levels. The VISTA member will create sustainable relationships with community members and stakeholders to improve quality of life for our community and access to resources.
