| Member Duties : Develop strategies to recruit volunteers for Love Your Block by engaging schools, community organizations, businesses, and residents. Collaborate with city officials and community leaders to identify volunteer needs. Organize volunteer training sessions to ensure they’re prepared for tasks like beautification or outreach. Establish a system to track engagement and hours worked. Provide ongoing support and supervision, keeping volunteers motivated and addressing their concerns. Coordinate volunteer activities, including appreciation events. Build partnerships to promote volunteerism. Track data for program evaluation, and assist LYB Fellows with community outreach and mini-grant processes.
