NAU VISTA Project: Energy Equity VISTA

The VISTA will build capacity to engage with lower income residents in the Flagstaff community to better understand and alleviate energy poverty. This work will assist Flagstaff’s COVID rebound by connecting residents with government services to help make their homes healthier, more comfortable, energy efficient, and climate-resilient. The VISTA will expand home weatherization, energy efficiency, and electrification programs through community outreach, program development, monitoring, evaluation, volunteer organizing, and enhancing collaboration with City and community partners. The VISTA will connect lower-income residents with Federal and State incentives to ensure that they can utilize these programs in their homes.
