Are you passionate about making a difference and curious about how mission-driven nonprofits operate behind the scenes? The Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education (KACEE) is seeking a Capacity Building AmeriCorps Member to support and strengthen systems that expand access to environmental education across Kansas. This position is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit management, communications, education, or sustainability. The member will work closely with KACEE staff on a variety of key capacity-building projects that offer a unique, hands-on look at how a nonprofit functions and grows its impact. Opportunities include: Support fund development by researching and organizing funding opportunities, assisting with donor engagement plans, and helping maintain accurate records in our contact database. They will contribute to the organization’s long-term sustainability by supporting grant-related research, campaign planning, and donor communications. Help organize and enhance environmental education course materials, develop communication plans to engage past participants, and moderate online courses. They will play an active role in communications—creating and scheduling social media posts, updating the website, organizing digital assets, and contributing to email campaigns.
